IT’S TIME FOR
The Flowing Wells School District offers free, full-day instruction for all kindergarten students. Our dedicated teachers engage learners in systematic phonics; guided, leveled reading; student-centered mathematics; inquiry-based science explorations; and positive social interactions. Our schools provide enrichment time each day in the areas of S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), physical education, music, and library. We focus on each child’s early literacy success, ensuring a smooth transition and continual growth from their early years.
Early Kindergarten Enrollment: Why It’s Important and What to Expect
While the term “Roundup” may evoke images of lasso-swinging rodeo fun, it actually refers to early registration for soon-to-be Kindergarten students. By enrolling early, schools can better prepare to serve all incoming little learners. Following enrollment, schools and teachers will offer orientations for families before the start of the 2024-2025 school year.
This is the perfect opportunity for you and your child to meet with teachers and familiarize yourself with the new learning environment.

Experience the excitement and growth that comes with our sports programs. Children learn teamwork, develop athletic skills, and foster a love for physical activity in a fun, supportive environment.
Fine Arts
Our elementary schools are committed to fostering fine arts from Kindergarten through sixth grade, with opportunities in musical performances and choir. Specialized band and orchestra classes are also available for 5-6 graders.
After School Programs
SKILLS offers a unique after-school experience for 1st-6th graders, blending enriching activities with focused academic support, all aimed at fostering academic excellence and personal growth.

Project READy is an engaging summer program designed for both parents and children entering Kindergarten in the Flowing Wells Unified School District, starting in August 2024.
